We are looking for a passionate Plan & Order Point Manager to lead our brand-new Planning Studio in Chur over the next few years, during an exciting period of retail transformation and digitalisation. With your team you will be responsible for creating an extraordinary shopping experience for our customers and driving sales and profitability results.
• You have strong leadership and people development abilities in a fast-moving and changing environment. • You are business-minded, result-driven, have excellent analytical skills and know how to manage budgets and use departmental actions to influence profit and loss. • You have a proven track record of developing and implementing short- and long-term action plans and consistently reaching performance goals within the agreed budgets. • You have previous experience in a management or deputy management function. • You are able to combine working on a strategic level with acting on an operational/tactical level. • You have a broad knowledge of IKEA product range and services, and you know the local market, competitor situation and life at home. • You have an extensive understanding of sales channels in digital retailing. •Your excellent communication skill allow you to interact professionally with external media. It is a plus if you have already experience with that. •You are fluent in English and German, both spoken and written, and you can understand easily Swiss German.

• Develop, lead and deliver growth, low cost, and sustainable profitability in accordance with our overall purpose, retail direction and our financial strategy within the trade area. • Deliver and lead the commercial action plan by collaborating with St.Gallen store from briefing to finalization and follow-up, • Applyng seasonal changes to offer our customers relevant and inspiring home-furnishing solutions and vitality. • Know your local market potential and trade area and work with your team and the St.Gallen store to ensure your meeting point is locally relevant throughout the different sales channels in range presentation and communication. •Analyse the qualitative performance of your planning studio using IKEA research tools to improve the customer experience through all channels. •Lead and develop the team and establish a motivating work atmosphere. Identify and develop the many talents within the planning studio to secure succession planning. •Be an active part in the market management team and at the same time actively work with all relevant functions and stakeholders to secure the information flow towards the planning studio.
